Is it this is so called “1Malaysia” or “1Malay..si..a”?

I’m not impressed at all when this guy from PKR said this,

We are all united in our mission to topple the Barisan Nasional

—————————————————————-

What is the main objective on your map to Putrajaya? If your main objective is just to “topple” BN, I don’t think you are mature enough to handle this country! Toppling a government is easy, but running a government is not that easy as what you think (kindly refer to Taiwan). Your objective should be “for a better life of Malaysians”, if I could suggest.

Should I continue to blog or stop blogging??…..Haih….

Boss: Due to recession, we need to cut your allowance….

Employee A: What….How come??

Boss: If we do not your allowance, our company will go bankrupt in 4 years time. Then all of us will run into trouble.

Employee B: What to do, we need this job….

After few days,

Boss: The company is allocating RM800 million to expand our factory and another RM800 to build a better administration office…

Employee C: Huh, I thought we do not have enough money.

Employee A: Yeah, that’s why our allowance  might be cut.

Boss: “Stunned”….

Employee B: So, Boss….Our company is OK or not?? Do we have money or not? You told us we can save a portion of money, but now, you want to expand the factory and administrative department? IT DOES not make any sense.

Employee A: Boss, we do our best for the company. We contribute our time and money as well for this company…

Employee C: What to do…..This company, sigh sigh…..

The best quotation that I ever heard, “If we can save” (kindly refer to the link)

What does “if” implies??

a) Saving is a problem now

b) Saving is an issue now

c) Saving is out of the question now

Mr. PM, we can save if…..

a) there is no self-centered in decision-making

b) funds has been channeled to the place where it needed most. When I say needed most, I mean the rakyat need most, not ADUNs and MPs.

c) no wastage of funds or excessive of budgets to unnecessary items.

d) every party is involved when planning, controlling and implementation of a project begins.

e) someone can “give up” drinking “coffee”….this will be great….

Why subsidies need to be cut?

First, inflation is getting higher

Second, other countries are cutting their subsidies also…

Third, maybe our country will face same problem like Greece….

How subsidies-cut can be avoided?

First, leaders tummy can be smaller (don’t eat too much oily food, or else another by-election will happen)…

Second, leaders use AA to fly instead private jet..

Third, leaders should consume lesser “coffee”…

Fourth, leaders drive only proton saga, don’t engage personal driver…

Fifth, leaders stay at terrace house…

Sixth…bla bla bla…..

One of my friends told me, if he is being a chance to vote for 328 MCA Election, especially for President, he will opt for Ong Tee Keat because he is proven to be a calibre leader. I asked him, why not Chua Soi Lek? He answered, he told me, as a community leader, you need to have good ethical attributes, Chua Soi Lek’s past still lingering in his mind.

I have asked this question before. If we are Christian, we should know that man in this world is imperfect. Since the man fallen into sins, man are deemed to have weakness and rely more on the flesh. I read an article few days, the author asked why we are looking for a moral man in this world? Why we iconic fallen man or why we morally the man? I agree with the author to some extent. Why i iconize fallen man in this world? Why we are looking perfection from imperfect man in this world?

The Bible tells us that, forgiveness is one of the key biblical teaching of Christianity. Some youth told me, their problem is none of my business, while for some elders, they could not accept unethical person. My question will be: who are we to judge a person? Are not our responsibility to share the gospel (forgiveness and love to other people)?

Philip Yancey in his “What So Amazing about Grace?”, he questioned man as their difficulty to forgive and accept people. Initially, we do not have privilege to draw near to God, but His grace is more than we can imagine as He sent His Son to died and later 3 days, resurrected to give man hope, love and peace.

Thus, forgiveness is important element/teaching in our daily life.

I know indeed it is difficult to forgive in some circumstances, but it is a journey or process that we need to go through.

John Stott

“Stability should always be a characteristic of the people of God.”

VERSE

Ku mahu cinta Yesus selamanya,

Ku mahu cinta Yesus selamanya,

Meskipun badai silih berganti dalan hidupku,

Ku tetap cinta Yesus selamanya,

CHORUS

Layakkanlah seluruh hidupku,

Ya Bapa Bapa ini aku anakMu,

Pakailah sesuai dengan rencanaMu

7-8 years ago, back to my mother church, we kept singing this song. I could say that this is the most popular song during that time. Indeed, if we try to read it literally, this song speak the heart of many worshipers. Our struggles and challenges, God knows everything. Since the song speaks the heart of many people, I saw many tears that flowed down their cheek. Indeed as a Christian, we live in a world of trials and temptations. I need to admit that I was one of the regular worship leaders who kept leading this song during singspiration.

However, as I look and read carefully of this lyric. I stopped for a while and reflect. I could not connect the relationship between Father and Son. In the verse, it reads that we love our Lord Jesus wholeheartedly. Why? Jesus came as man to suffer and died, thus He knew struggles and spiritual turmoil that men undergoing in this world. That’s why the struggles that we are going through now, we shall placed before the Lord because the Son, Jesus Christ is interceding for us. As long as we love Jesus forever. But bear in mind, Jesus taught us to love God with all our heart, mind and soul. Not Him. Although we accept the theology of Trinity, whereby Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are in the same level, but the attributes of our Father God should not be mistakenly understood. Jesus is able to love us because His Father love Him first. This is first theological argument.

Second, while in the verse the songwriter mentioned how he loved Jesus forever, out of sudden the songwriter change his focus to the “father”. Who is the this father? As the lyric mentioned about Jesus, is it still referring to Jesus or the Father God? If it is Jesus, this is totally unacceptable because Jesus is NOT the Father. If the songwriter is referring to Father God, but why songwriter contradict with himself by mentioning Jesus at the first place. This is second theological argument.

I’m not here to condemn the songwriter for writing this “un-sound” song. But we need to bear in mind that, singing song is one of the many channel that show our attitude of worship.

Friends, if you have different opinion. You are allowed to leave your comments here. Thank you.
